 Gas
Turbine Research Establishment (GTRE) is developing the Kaveri
engine for the Light Combat Aircraft (LCA). FEM Software has
collaborated extensively in weight reduction and optimization
programs related to rotors ( fan, high pressure compressor HPC,
low pressure turbine LPT, high pressure turbine HPT) and engine
gear box casing (EGB).

 Laboratory
for Electro-optical systems (LEOS), Department of Space, manufactures
high precision mirrors to be mounted on satellites. The mirrors
are subjected to a set of static, dynamic, thermal and random
loading conditions. The support point locations need to be optimized
to minimize the deflections. For their advanced analysis/design
needs, LEOS chose FEM Software to carry out the project, which
was completed successfully.

Electronics Research and Development Establishment (LRDE) is
a leading defense organization manufacturing airborne antennae
and other sophisticated electronic equipment. When they wanted
their new airborne antenna, mounted on the light combat aircraft
(LCA), to be analyzed for static, normal modes, thermal and
frequency response conditions, they chose FEM Software to carry
out the task, for their certification requirements. The project
was completed successfully, well within the stipulated time.

& Mahindra (M&M) are the largest Jeep manufacturer in
India. They introduced a new Jeep model, which was different
than their previous model. They chose FEM Software to conduct
the analysis and suggest suitable modifications to their Chassis
so it would be safe under the different operating conditions.
Based on the recommendations of the studies done by FEM Software,
the design was incorporated into the production version.

Power Corporation (NPC) & Fouress manufacture high precision
valves, among other components. These valves need to be analyzed
to a high level of accuracy for static and dynamic responses.
This entails a good FE mesh, judicious discretization, proper
choice of elements and correct application of kinematic boundary
conditions. NPC & Fouress chose FEM Software to calculate
the static &dynamic responses. The project was completed
successfully by FEM Software.

Wheel & Axle Plant (WAP) in Bangalore manufacture railway
wheels. With one of their new designs, WAP had concerns about
high thermal stresses that develop in the wheels during the
application of brakes. They chose FEM Software to carry out
the analysis & predict the thermal stresses. The project
